dialog window or modal - new conversation

Hello
Is it possible to start new conversation for modal panel and end conversation when it's closed?
If not, is it possible to open dialog window (not panel) in RichFaces?
And maybe anybody know what's going on with conversations in such dialog window?

I know that Seam supports multiple tabs/window.
But modal dialog is not a window, and modal window is specific type of window. I even don't know if there is possibility to open modal window in other wey then java script. Can I for example use commandLink or button to open modal window?

modal panel just simple div inside the page. so seems you should open your own new window from JS
