vpn environment not supported?

I have a one-way vpn environment that multi client can connect to a single server. I can ping server from client using server's IP but can't ping my client's ip from server (one way only). It seems jboss messaging doesn't support it. any ideas?

What version of JBoss Messaging are you using?


If you are using 1.3... sockets are created from client to server... and the server doesn't need to ping clients. (This was an improvement over 1.0 where we had the server opening sockets on clients).
