1. Re: Dynamic columns with rich:columns
shadowcreeper Aug 28, 2008 2:14 PM (in response to hoann)Do the rich:subTable components have different numbers of columns? If so, then you probly need to make them sub-rich:dataTable components instead.

2. Re: Dynamic columns with rich:columns
hoann Aug 28, 2008 7:29 PM (in response to hoann)Thanks for the reply.
And, yes, my subtables have different number of columns. And the number of subtables as well as the number of columns of each subtable is only known at runtime.
I have already tried rich:subTable (see my code snippet 1) and also rich:dataTable (see my code snippet 2) nested inside another rich:dataTable. But it seems that rich:columns can't get the correct list of columns of subtables.
Anyone has been successful with this case?

3. Re: Dynamic columns with rich:columns
shadowcreeper Aug 28, 2008 7:54 PM (in response to hoann)Have you tried nesting them inside a tomahawk dataTable or an h:dataTable or nesting a t:dataTable inside it with a t:columns instead of rich:dataTable nested within rich:dataTable?

4. Re: Dynamic number of columns with rich:columns
hoann Sep 1, 2008 10:35 PM (in response to hoann)I have found the solution by using rich:columns in combination with c:forEach.
