How to prevent firewall from closing client connections

Hi

we have clients connecting to a JMS queue and it works fine most of the time :P however our firewall is set up to close idle connections after approx 1h

Does anyone know what settings should be set in order to prevent the firewall from closing connections ?

Perhaps you should ask your firewall manufacturer or read your firewall manual?

You can't configure JBoss Messaging to prevent your firewall closing connections!

If your firewall decides to close connections then no application can stop it - if it could it would be a pretty useless firewall (think of the exploits).

You need to read your firewall manual and find out how to prevent it from closing connections.
