i have created dynamic menu using server side code. and working excellent. now my requirement is when i click on drop down menu it should same as click on first menu item.

is this possible, i didnt found any onclick event on dropdown menu

if you use onclick as expand event and also want to fire some action in the same time - you may just use onexpand attribute in order to fire request with a4j:support for example.

no i dont want to do some thing on expand but want to have something when user clicks on dropdown menu
