stalep Dec 11, 2008 7:32 AM (in response to hutchinsons)javassist is a library jboss aop uses to transform the classes to be "aopable". it seems like that org.springframework.validation.Validator isnt in the classpath provided to the aop plugin.
try to add<includeProjectDependency>true</includeProjectDependency>
and see if that helps.
look at http://www.jboss.org/jbossaop/docs/2.0.0.GA/docs/aspect-framework/reference/en/html/maven.html for more info on the maven plugin. -

I had read the Maven 2 chapter already and have tried the<includeProjectDependency>true</includeProjectDependency>
configuration option without success.
I equally tried to just aopc a specific class using<includes> <include>POJO.class</include> </includes> But it always results in the same error.
