Evaluating JBoss for my company. Seam web application or cla

I'm evaluating JBoss as our next application server.
We work on a rather complex web site.

I've looked at some trailblazers, seam and dvdstore example, etc

I'm rather new to j2ee development.

Do you think I sould put my testing efforts into classic j2ee applications (like the dvdstore example) or seam based web applications ?

Can an experienced jboss user tell me the pros and cons, what he thinks about that ?

It depends, are you trying to migrate an existing system, or build a brand new system from scratch?

We're trying to migrate an existant web site. But using cgi, written in C language.

So the web application will be re written from scratch.

So definitely consider EJB 3.0 and also Seam.
