maxandersen Dec 29, 2005 3:38 AM (in response to norhaida)I do follow it ;)
...but to norhaida, i'm in progress of updating the docs and we will release that soon where there are more details of how to install it.
Until then here is the quick steps:
Requirement when wanting the UI:
Eclipse 3.1
Requirement when not using the UI:
Ant 1.6.x
Install:
Unzip the distribution and copy plugin and feature directories to your eclipse directory (there should already be plugin and feature directory, so the end result is just that the new plugins gets placed in the existing directories)
Start eclipse (sometimes it is necessary to start it with eclipse -clean to make it work)
Create a console configuration (Ctlr+N, Hibernate/Console Configuraiton Wizard or simply via the hibernate.cfg.xml Wizard)
Remember to check that your build directory and jdbc driver jar is included in the console configuration classpath.
After this point you should be able to run hibernate code generation from the Run menu or via the hibernate icon in the toolbar.
p.s. to get the new seam stuff you currently need to use the latest nightly builds - see tools.hibernate.org for links.
