Database connection initialization

Hi.

TASK:
Before any use of any database connection that was acquired, I need to initialize a connection for every user by executing the stored procedure with parameters.

PROBLEM:
I really stuck in finding appropriate place where to do this.

Could someone give me a clue. Any help appreciated.

Perhaps write a custom Hibernate ConnectionProvider? Or perhaps JBoss JCA provides some plugin point...
