1. Re: Seam + Portlet + EntityManager
chuaky Aug 17, 2006 6:51 PM (in response to chuaky)dear all,
Not sure if my understanding is correct, but portlet deployment has to be WAR file type?
If so, how to do deploy "Seam managed transactions" (see section 9.4 of Seam reference manual) for portlet?
Please advise, many thanks. -

chuaky Aug 18, 2006 5:07 AM (in response to chuaky)dear all,
Managed to create a EAR file to deploy the EJB3 and WAR. Just have to make sure that jboss-app.xml file is moved to the WAR WEB-INF folder, and the context root property is removed from the EAR application.xml.
Cheers. -

jjarkko Aug 29, 2006 5:01 PM (in response to chuaky)Hello,
So you managed to create and deploy an EAR which has portlets (using EJB3) inside it? What Portal did you use? I'm asking this because i'm trying to "integrate" Liferay and Seam portlets (JSF,EJB3). -
