Navigation constraints with RichFaces + Facelets

Hello,

Are you aware that the jspx (xhtml) need to be under the root "/" folder of the application and nowhere else (e.g. "/WEB-INF/") to be correctly processed?

I'm currently using RichFaces 3.2.2 and Facelets 1.1.14.

I guess it comes from Facelets because I've built in parallel another version of my application with IceFaces and it works perfectly well --> IceFaces provides us with a dedicated version of Facelets (i.e. icefaces-facelets.jar) in its package and my jspx files are well processed in "/WEB-INF/workarea/".

Hi all,

I build a web-app test without facelets, only the welcome-page inside the WEB-INF directory works.

JSF navigation fails

<navigation-rule>
 <from-view-id>/WEB-INF/one.xhtml</from-view-id>
 <navigation-case>
 <from-outcome>two</from-outcome>
 <to-view-id>/WEB-INF/two.xhtml</to-view-id>
 <redirect/>
 </navigation-case>
 </navigation-rule>

If I try to navigate from one.jsf to the two.jsf I get the error:

the ressource (/Richfaces/WEB-INF/one.jsf) is not available.

the browser try to display the url

http://localhost:8080/Richfaces//WEB-INF/one.jsf

I tested without Facelets and I still have the same problem.

Any ideas why RichFaces has such a restriction?
