Reloading h:form using ajax not wroking with Firefox

Hi All!

I have a very frustrating problem with Seam 2.0.2SP1. I want to re-render pane which have h:form included. After re-rendering, FF doesn't see the form in 'document.forms' and hence this form can't submit any actions. The following code works fine in IE, but not in FF, please advice:

'Action!' button works fine until you click on 'Week' link. After that clicking on

<s:button onclick='check(); return false;' />

doesn't show form is present in FF and 'Action!' button also results in JS error 'form is null' in FF.

Seems like a DOM problem in FF. Any ideas?

Hi,

Yes, looks like a DOM issue. I can still submit "Action!" link after re-render and it is handled properly despite of the fact that this form disappeared from document.forms collection. Checked in FF2/FF3. Does this work for you correctly?

No, the code I posted works fine for me in FF2 & IE6, but doesn't submit anything after re-render (until you manually press F5 or Ctrl-R) in FF3.0.2

But anyway, the general problem is that I have custom component containing form inside of it. Once the component is re-rendered it doesn't work anymore.

Nick. what do you think, should I post a bug to Firefox? I suppose, it is related to replaceNode functionality

I've tried with 3.0.3 and it worked.
