4. Re: contextMenu problem ?
vetalok Oct 22, 2008 12:01 PM (in response to dsantos)Hi all
Putting my question here to avoid spam :)
I have a problem with contextMenu items.
My code:
<rich:contextMenu attachTo="product_custom" name="#{node.name}" event="oncontextmenu" submitMode="none">
<rich:menuItem value="Remove" oclick="alert('Hello');" id="vpupkin">
</rich:menuItem>
</rich:contextMenu>
The menu was successfully rendered but it seems no events (i.e "alert('Hello');" or action=#{someBean.someAction} )
has been fired and processed.
I have
richfaces 3.1.4.GA.
I tried to google the issue but did not found any solutions.
Any ideas?
Thanks for attention. -

vetalok Oct 23, 2008 4:26 AM (in response to dsantos)oclick="alert('Hello');" - does not work

onmousedown="alert('Hello1');" - works
:)
Now need to investigate why
action=#{someBean.someAction}
did not invoke -
6. Re: contextMenu problem ?
ilya_shaikovsky Oct 23, 2008 10:17 AM (in response to dsantos)why did you expect that action (or simply the request) will be fired using submit mode ="none" ?
change it to server or ajax.
