Yes, the destroy method is also in the interface.
It is declared like:
@Local
@Remote
public interface UserFacade {
public String getUsername();
public void setUsername(String username);
public String getPassword();
public void setPassword(String password);
public String login();
public void destroy();
}

that was a good one!
As of the InterceptionFilter I had to pack a jboss-seam.jar in the EAR. Another one was with the rest of the web-related libs in the war.
That solved my troubles.
