1. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
gavin.king Feb 2, 2007 12:46 AM (in response to swd847)In theory it should work in Seam 1.1.
Try using your debugger... -
2. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
gavin.king Feb 2, 2007 12:47 AM (in response to swd847)Actually I'm wrong. The qualified names only work for components, not for arbitrary outjected values. Hmmmm.

3. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
swd847 Feb 3, 2007 7:38 PM (in response to swd847)Can I add this to the JIRA?
Also, would it be possible to have something like and @DefaultNamespace package level annotation that would automatically assign a fully qualified name to all components in the package without one?
And maybe the ability to import namespaces in page.xml so it is not nessesary to always refer to them via the FQN in the EL?
What do you think?

4. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
gavin.king Feb 3, 2007 10:10 PM (in response to swd847)I dont think it can be implemented, sorry.
@DefaultNamespace would not work. You need an @Component annotation, as has been suggested several times.
pages.xml, or components.xml? -
5. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
swd847 Feb 3, 2007 11:04 PM (in response to swd847)I was thinking pages.xml, so you can say things like 'pages from this directory use components from this namespace', which I know I would find quite useful.
When you say you don't think it can be implemented do you mean the @DefaultNamespace or namespaces for arbitrarily injected values? -
6. Re: Fully Qualifed Names in EL
gavin.king Feb 3, 2007 11:14 PM (in response to swd847)I mean namespaced arbitrary values.
