1. Re: problem with the <h:column> rendered attribute
norman.richards Feb 22, 2007 8:48 PM (in response to ask4saif)If you are trying to do conditionally show the CONTENT of an h:column, you should conditionally render the content, not the column.

2. Re: problem with the <h:column> rendered attribute
ask4saif Feb 23, 2007 4:40 AM (in response to ask4saif)thanks norman for your help, It has solved the problem of the header.
But the new problem is i am rendering the output data conditionally.
So when the condition is true that perticular row is displayed in the table, but when the condition is not true it leaves blank spaces in its position. This creates a lot of gap between certain rows. I cannot see how to solve it. can you suggest me how to do it.
thanks in advance -

mjek2 Feb 23, 2007 8:05 AM (in response to ask4saif)If you want to hide the entire row (not just a cell) based on certain conditions I think you should do it in your java code (backing bean or so)

pmuir Feb 24, 2007 6:36 PM (in response to ask4saif)You would be better off asking this in a JSF forum (Sun's JSF forum perhaps, or myfaces user list if you are using myfaces) as this really isn't a Seam question.
