Seam Instantiation

Hi,

At the risk of asking an obvious question. Can someone enlighten me as to what actually bootstraps Seam? Is it org.jboss.seam.servlet.SeamListener or something else (non-webby)?

The reason I ask is that I was wondering about a non-ui application sub-system I need to develop, and if I could use Seam. Else I'll just resort to a well known IoC container inside JBoss ;-)

Its the servlet context listener, yes. But if you look at the src of the listener, you'll see that all it is doing in instantiating the Initialization object.
