Design flaw? org.jboss.seam framework.Query doesn't have get

org.jboss.seam framework.Query doesn't have getCacheable() method.
org.jboss.seam framework.EntityQuery doesn't have getCacheable() method either. How would be possible to make a query cacheable then?
Is this a design flaw in Seam or there is some other way of achieving this?

there is a setHints()/getHints() pair, cacheability is controlled via hints.
