I wonder if this approach is portable though. My guess is it is not. Can someone with more experience with Seam confirm this for me? Thanks in advance.
I've not much experience with seam, but a bit with hibernate, and the main thing 'bout hibernate is that it supports multiple DBs and is intended to be portable, so should your code should be portable as well.
