1. Re: Injecting properties using CRUD framework
bulloncito May 16, 2007 6:06 PM (in response to pdhaigh)... you can use Inheritance Aproach, extending EntityHome and overriding update method.
... documentation states:
We can define a personHome component either via configuration:<framework:entity-home name="personHome" entity-class="eg.Person" />
Or via extension:@Name("personHome") public class PersonHome extends EntityHome<Person> {}
there you can@Override public String update() { setId() ; setLastUpdatedBy( someone ) ; return super.update() ; }

pdhaigh May 17, 2007 4:40 AM (in response to pdhaigh)Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I knew it was possible extending entityhome, but I was wondering if there was a way to do it via xml configuration? -

bulloncito May 17, 2007 12:13 PM (in response to pdhaigh)... then you would be programming in xml instead of java, wrong choice I would say ;)
