5. Re: IE7 + 3.3.0 snapshot demo
dorfbewohner Nov 19, 2008 6:14 AM (in response to six-p4ck)Sorry, this does not work for me. I have the same problem with IE7, it can be reproduced with the public demo at http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/panelMenu.jsf - with IE7, absolutely nothing works there! Emptying the cache does not work or please state exactly what you mean with "emptying the cache".

7. Re: IE7 + 3.3.0 snapshot demo
dorfbewohner Nov 19, 2008 6:42 AM (in response to six-p4ck)Windows XP SP 2 + IE7 - that's all. Just go to the address http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/tabPanel.jsf with IE7. Then, after the page is loaded, IE7 shows a Javascript error: "The object does not support this property or method" (my translation from German) and klicking anywhere on the left- hand side menu or at any of the tabs labelled "First", "Second" and "Third" or "Usage" and "Tag information" has no effect. Similar errors can be reproduced with any other page on the above demo site.
on the page http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/inputNumberSlider.jsf, the triangles on the sliders are not displayed at all
on http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/calendar.jsf?c=calendar&tab=usage, the calendar does not pop up when i click on the calendar symbol
...
and so on -

9. Re: IE7 + 3.3.0 snapshot demo
dorfbewohner Nov 19, 2008 7:25 AM (in response to six-p4ck)Sorry, CTRL+F5 doesn't help. So, what could be different between our machines?
- Browser settings? Where to look first?
- Different localized versions of Windows and/or IE7? Mine are both german.
or do you have any other ideas and how can we track the problem from here?
IE7 has problems apparently because it produces JS errors. Do you know any tools for IE that can show the exact place in the JS code that causes the problem? -

11. Re: IE7 + 3.3.0 snapshot demo
dorfbewohner Nov 19, 2008 7:47 AM (in response to six-p4ck)I found the reason: in my browser, ActiveX was disabled. After I enabled it, the demo site works.
Could RichFaces detect that ActiveX is disabled and display an appropriate error message?
