This is definitely NOT our recommended solution! -

jump Jun 5, 2007 7:36 AM (in response to jump)So, what is your recommended solution?

7. Re: Class loading problem
gavin.king Jun 5, 2007 7:43 AM (in response to jump)To not have two facelets jars in the classpath, of course!

8. Re: Class loading problem
jump Jun 5, 2007 7:46 AM (in response to jump)But I had the only jsf-facelets.jar ( war.dir/WEB-INF/lib/jsf-facelets.jar). The other one was created by deployer.

10. Re: Class loading problem
lightguard Jun 5, 2007 10:36 AM (in response to jump)Maybe I'm missing something in the thread. Are there two facelets jars in the classpath? You said there's one in the WEB-INF/lib, is there one in JBoss already? What version of the AS are you running?

11. Re: Class loading problem
kosmos Jun 5, 2007 10:56 AM (in response to jump)The other one was created during deployment in server/default/tmp
JBoss AS 4.0.5 GA -
12. Re: Class loading problem
lightguard Jun 5, 2007 11:02 AM (in response to jump)Probably shouldn't matter, but try cleaning out your tmp and work directories in Jboss then redeploying. Also check the JBOSS_HOME/server/which_server_name_you_use/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/jsf-libs dir and see if there's a copy of facelets in there (if you haven't already).

Actually, tmp directory is locked in runtime and server cleans it up while shutdowning. There is only default jboss configuration in my server. There no other TagHandle.class files in my jboss, except one in web-inf/lib adn another in deploy/tmp -
14. Re: Class loading problem
lightguard Jun 5, 2007 2:23 PM (in response to jump)You mentioned earlier in the application.xml you had that jar defined as a javaModule. Maybe JBoss is picking it up, then Tomcat is. Have you tried taking the line out of the application.xml?
