quintenjiang Jun 20, 2007 10:55 AM (in response to kosiakk)kosiakk,
I also try to migrate Jboos from 4.0.5 to 4.2.0.
It works fine in 4.0.5, but it keep to get error message on DatabasePersistencePolicy. I use seam 1.3.0, where did you get 1.3.1a?
by the way, may I know how do you configure mysql, just change file hsqldb-ds or replace new one mysql-ds.xml?
Thanks,

kosiakk Jun 20, 2007 12:25 PM (in response to kosiakk)Sorry, that was really 1.3.0.alpha.
I don't know why, but changing header of *.page.xml helps!
I've just replaced DOCTYPE with XMLNS and it works quite fast now =) -
5. Re: Upgrading to Seam1.3.1a/JBossAS4.2.0ga Significant perfo
pmuir Jun 20, 2007 12:32 PM (in response to kosiakk)Seam is distributed with the correct xsds/dtds for the minor version number (1.2/1.3). If you don't update the numbering between minor releases then Seam trys to get the xsd/dtd from jboss.com - probably this was your problem.

kosiakk Jun 20, 2007 12:35 PM (in response to kosiakk)Thanks, Pete
Anyway, I recommend to anybody else who want to migrate existing seam-gen application to create new project and grab all new configuration files and file headers.
I'd recommend using diff tool like CSDiff for quickly get the difference. -

quintenjiang Jun 21, 2007 2:35 PM (in response to kosiakk)Hi kosiakk,
May I know how do you configure mySql connection under Jboss4.2.0?
Do you just modify hsqldb-ds.xml or use mysql-ds.xml file under deploy directory?
Thanks,
Quinten
