nbelaevski Nov 19, 2008 8:05 PM (in response to nathandennis)Hi,
Does anything change if you remove eventsQueue="epigraphQueue"? Do you have another components on the page that use the same eventsQueue? -
3. Re: 3.3.0 jsFunction problems
nathandennis Nov 19, 2008 10:09 PM (in response to nathandennis)i do have other events that use the same queue. in fact the events queue is the reason im executing the method this way. originally i had written this js function using Seam Remoting.
all other place on the page where this queue is used (a4j links buttons etc..) i also pass the conversation id. (these work,,, and stay on the same conversation)
i tried removing the queue like to said just to see what would happen.. but it makes no difference. it opens a new conversation each time it is called regardless.
i should add this was working code in an earlier revision.
thanks for any ideas. -

6. Re: 3.3.0 jsFunction problems
nathandennis Nov 20, 2008 12:31 AM (in response to nathandennis)are you guys running each ajax transaction in a queue in its own nested conversation?? im trying to figure out exactly what is happening... i messed around with it,,, got it working... but im not really sure what i did.. it looks like ive got it cleaning up the conversations (that appear to be nested) but why are they being started in the first place?

7. Re: 3.3.0 jsFunction problems
nathandennis Nov 20, 2008 1:23 AM (in response to nathandennis)so here is the problem,,, when richfaces does update on a section of the screen all the conversation ids returned in that section are WRONG. they should be the same as the original conversation. that is what is breaking all other places on my page that uses the original conversation for injection
