Where's your database update code in here? Is this actually being called?

mrwaves Jul 13, 2007 4:12 AM (in response to mrwaves)The return command is just for setting up a debugger breakpoint.
Since the debugger didn't stop there, I entered no code yet. -

mrwaves Jul 13, 2007 5:22 AM (in response to mrwaves)Ok, I just found out that it behaves the way it does for the strange file upload issue. If I comment out the dataTable part inside the form, the action listener is called.
I am using JBoss AS 4.0.5.GA, JBoss Seam 1.2.1.GA and JDK 1.6/1.5.
No matter which JDK I use to compile my source code, the behaviour is still the same. -

5. Re: commandLink/commandButtton do not invoke action listener
mrwaves Jul 13, 2007 11:09 AM (in response to mrwaves)Yes, there is.
But, unfortunately, I was not able to see it since the messages' attribute globalOnly was set to "true".
The message it displays now is as follows:
"category.xhtml @385,38 value="#{category[1] > 0}": Illegal Syntax for Set Operation".
At least something to investigate further ....
