Audit Values for custom User Types

Hi,

We have a lot of custom user types in our application, which for e,g, set a null on the PreparedStatement based on some condition or converts a List of Strings into a CSV, etc.
But while auditing, the state that it gets doesnt contain any modifications done in a UserType. Therefore, say a Null value got inserted in a column in my main table but the audit table contains a value 0.0.

Any ideas on how this can be achieved?

hmm... weird. There must be some step missing while auditing custom values. Could you create a JIRA bug with a testcase?
