seam-gen generate-entities has detectmanytomany="false". why

Why is the detectmanytomany flag set to false for the hibernate reverse engineering? Is there a reason you wouldn't want them detected as the default state?

IIRC support for manytomany in Hibernate Tools is perfect (generates incorrect relationships) so it's turned off so at least the generated code works.
