pmuir Aug 30, 2007 1:14 PM (in response to nemya)If its a stateless bean you can't rely on any state being held or lost between method invocations - hence what you are doing is flawed (the constructor has no meaning).

nemya Aug 30, 2007 1:20 PM (in response to nemya)I found a partial solution for this problem: I invoke the init() method in a getter of an attribute that is used in the xhtml page. The problem with this solution is that the setter of this same attribute is never invoked when I submit in the form.
Any way with the StateFul bean the problem in entirely resolved.
