amitev Sep 2, 2007 6:09 AM (in response to mgrouch)Seam does not manage the ui component tree. The actual component tree scope is request. In the end of the request the tree state is serialized and kept in the session and the state is restored on postback.

pmuir Sep 2, 2007 10:29 AM (in response to mgrouch)The UIViewRoot (root of the tree) is saved to the session (with a marker on the page) or serialized to the page depending on whether the state saving is server or client. Seam has no effect on this.
