1. Re: Automatic disabling of ui components
jacob.orshalick Sep 14, 2007 2:11 PM (in response to pesalomo)You could observe the org.jboss.seam.afterPhase event after the RENDER_RESPONSE phase as follows:
@Observer("org.jboss.seam.afterPhase") public void handleDisabling(PhaseEvent event) { if(event.getPhaseId() == PhaseId.RENDER_RESPONSE) { if(date is reached) { do disabling logic } } }
Hope that helps. -

jacob.orshalick Sep 14, 2007 3:05 PM (in response to pesalomo)Oops, sorry above should be "org.jboss.seam.beforePhase". Definitely want to update your components before rendering the response :)

4. Re: Automatic disabling of ui components
jacob.orshalick Sep 15, 2007 12:04 PM (in response to pesalomo)Yes, I am currently working on an article that will provide an introduction to use of nested conversations along with a code example. I will also be contributing a chapter to Michael Yuan's next edition of JBoss Seam: Simplicity and Power Beyond Java EE covering nested conversations more in-depth.
