inplaceSelect (List of Objects)

Hi,
i'm working with spring-webflow and i want to render
a list o objects into Richfaces.

I have objects into objects and when i choose one of the InplaceSelect i want to save the entired object (object with objects)

How can i do it? any idea?

The wat should be the same as for standard components (aka selectOneMenu)

is there a posssibility to use select tags without the use of converters?
like spring forms?

Please show how did you implement this for standard selects and describe the results of the same usage with inplaces.

I'm doing this:

<rich:inplaceSelect defaultLabel="#{msgs.selectSector}" width="130" value="#{personal.sector}" id="selectedSector">
 <f:selectItems value="#{sectors}" />
 <f:converter converterId="sectorConverter" />
</rich:inplaceSelect>

I want a way to avoid the use of convertes, is it possible?
