Problem with messages.properties

Hi! As i see in seam-gen generated project if i put messages.properties in the class path it will be used by seam as messages for jsf too. I've done this but nothing happes. JSF is showing it's default messages. Idea what's wrong?

Make sure you have the message-bundle declared in your faces-config.xml

Thx Pete! This is working, but the strange thing is that when i generate new project with seam 2.0 CR1 it doesn't put this code in faces-config.xml but messages.properties in web-inf/classes is still working. Is there such improvement in seam 2 or i'm missing something?

Yes, Seam2 automatically plumbs it so that the Seam message bundle component is used for JSF messages (meaning you get all the associated benefits like EL interpretation, page message bundles etc).
