pmuir Oct 3, 2007 6:43 PM (in response to asookazian)Get your JPA mappings correct and then use a single List to back the DataTable that contains the entities to update.

so does this mean use one <h:dataTable> only for all entities in the List or multiple <h:dataTable> tags in the form? -
4. Re: Seam + <h:dataTable> using two datasources
asookazian Oct 3, 2007 7:04 PM (in response to asookazian)I don't understand how to use the dataTable with multiple entity beans. say for instance, a Customer entity and a creditcard entity (1:m relationship).
would it be a single dataTable? it doesn't seem that would work that way... -
5. Re: Seam + <h:dataTable> using two datasources
pmuir Oct 3, 2007 7:09 PM (in response to asookazian)I would use nested dataTables in this case (or perhaps a ui:repeat or something as nesting tables can look odd). seamdiscs example has iterated lists inside a dataTable.
