2. Re: Check two passwords via CustomValidation
veli Dec 18, 2008 9:52 AM (in response to veli)Hi,
thanks for your answers.
I changed code like this;
<h:outputText value="#{msg.password_again}" />
<h:inputSecret id="RegPasswd2" value="#{regForm.password2}" size="14" maxlength="16" required="true" validator="#{regForm.passwordValidate}">
<a4j:support event="onblur" ajaxSingle="false" process="RegPasswd"></a4j:support>
</h:inputSecret>
<rich:message for="RegPasswd2"></rich:message>
but i cant get first password via this.getPassword() in passwordValidate function still. How can i check them?
Thanks again.
Have a nice day. -
3. Re: Check two passwords via CustomValidation
ilya_shaikovsky Dec 18, 2008 10:05 AM (in response to veli)oh.. sorry missed one main point.. certainly you could not get the password before like you defined. because model update called after validation. You should find the component object and get its submitted value.
