problem with characters encoding

I have a problem with seam and characters encoding.

I put in the components.xml :

<web:character-encoding-filter encoding="UTF-8" override-client="true" />

and in the view :

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

but no accent has been interpreted by seam :

communauté

is interpreted by :

communaut

I have found the anwer :

I have to use <h:outputText value="é" /> to display special characters.
