Home object for class hierarchy

Hi,
Is there any best practice/sample to use single Home object to serve few classes of same hierarchy with top abstract class. Something close to how artists/bands are being created in seamdisct but with abstract parent (which causes instantiation exception if used as parameter for home template).

Home/EntityHome is itself an example of this ;) Take a look at the seam source. This is a good way to proceed and one I used quite a lot in the past.
