nbelaevski Jan 12, 2009 8:17 PM (in response to dschauder)Hello,
Looks like this is happening due to locally stored value. Try doingorg.richfaces.component.UIPanelMenu#setSelectedChild(null)
to get it "synced". -

rjbruneel Jan 13, 2009 2:28 PM (in response to dschauder)Thank you for the reply, but I am new to rich faces and I am not sure where to put this code. Maybe I should describe my issue in more detail.
We have a ModalPanel with some form elements one of those form elements is required. If we submit the form without the required field we get an error as expected. The user has the option to close the ModalPanel. How can we refresh the ModalPanel with the original data when the user reopens the ModalPanel? -

nbelaevski Jan 13, 2009 2:51 PM (in response to dschauder)1. Bind panelMenu to bean property
2. Show modalPanel using a4j:commandLink/button:<rich:panelMenu binding="#{bean.panelMenu}">...</rich:panelMenu> <a4j:commandLink value="show" reRender="panel" action="#{bean.action}" oncomplete="#{rich:component('panel')}.show()" />
public void action() { panelMenu.setSelectedChild(null); }
