pmuir Dec 20, 2007 10:58 AM (in response to ericjava)You need a to call a method annotated with @Begin. POJOs are event scoped by default, so also add an @Scope(CONVERSATION).

ericjava Dec 21, 2007 3:41 AM (in response to ericjava)I found out what was messing me up. I had a page with a4j:mediaOutput. The method that was creating the media output was driving me crazy because it was ignoring the conversation! Well, of course it was, because conversations don't propagate "through" a mediaOutput. I think that may be a bug / deficiency in a4j:mediaOutput. Anyway, workaround is simple. Provide what you want in the mediaOutput value="" attribute.
It's obvious now that I see it, but it really frustrated me for a bit. -
