n00b: Seam + JSF + Ajax?

Sorry to post such a n00b question.

I was at a customer site last month and they were trying to use Seam + JSF + DWR + RichFaces. They ran into some problems in getting
the seam Page scope to activate when posting an ajax request back via
DWR.

First question. Does anyone else know how to do this?

Second question: In general, how well does Seam play with Ajax?

Ed,

1) No idea. How were they connecting DWR to Seam? via Seam Remoting? If so, this issue is probably relevant http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-280

2) Good, primarily via those JSF Ajaxy component sets like RichFaces/Ajax4jsf, IceFaces and Trinidad. Also via Seam Remoting for direct access to Seam components via JS.
