1. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
graben Feb 5, 2008 12:38 PM (in response to graben)Super strange. When using s:link an propagation attribute everything works. And it seems that it is totaly regardless of which type begin or nested. I'm totaly confused! :-|

mail.micke Feb 5, 2008 12:58 PM (in response to graben)Which component doesn't it work for and which version of Seam are you using?
I'm using Seam 1.2.1.GA and in that verision the s:conversationPropagation doesn't work with h:commandButton ... There is a JIRA for this in the system.

3. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
graben Feb 5, 2008 1:05 PM (in response to graben)I'm using rich:menuitem on Seam 2.0.1. The s:conversationPropagation works if using begin, but it doesn't works correct (in my opinion) when using nested and a conversation is not started yet! I think if using nested it should start a conversation if necessary.

5. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
graben Feb 6, 2008 2:09 AM (in response to graben)<rich:panelMenuItem label="#{child.label}" icon="/img/icons/menu_item.png" action="#{child.execute()}" style="background- color:#eeeeee" rendered="#{child.notSecurity and !child.selected}"> <s:conversationPropagation type="nested" /> </rich:panelMenuItem>
Some short explaination. This is a code fragment out of a menu where conversations should be started from. -
6. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
pmuir Feb 6, 2008 10:00 AM (in response to graben)Does it work if you use s:link or h:commandButton?

7. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
graben Feb 6, 2008 11:02 AM (in response to graben)I tried it with s:link and it works, but by the way it works whether using begin or nested. No difference!
Anyway this was only a dirty hack to try, because I need the menuitem! -
8. Re: Problem with <s:conversationPropagation>
