nickarls Feb 9, 2008 2:57 PM (in response to rhasselbaum)Not a direct answer to the question but you could put an archive-mailbox on your bcc list...

rhasselbaum Feb 9, 2008 3:20 PM (in response to rhasselbaum)I considered that, but it doesn't accomplish what I want to do. I want to be able to retrieve the e-mail later via the web site.

3. Re: Saving e-mails generated by Seam
nickarls Feb 9, 2008 3:44 PM (in response to rhasselbaum)Well, if you write this imap-view against your mailbox... ;-)
Does it have to be an exact snapshot through the template? Otherwise you could just store away the information in the template... -
4. Re: Saving e-mails generated by Seam
rhasselbaum Feb 9, 2008 4:07 PM (in response to rhasselbaum)Thanks for your reply. I know there are other ways to achieve the same effect, but the easiest solution is for me to to get a handle to the rendered HTML (or e-mail payload) directly through Seam if that's possible. If it's not possible, then I'll look at other options.

5. Re: Saving e-mails generated by Seam
pmuir Feb 17, 2008 3:00 PM (in response to rhasselbaum)You would need to configure javamail to write to a output stream. If this is possible, then yes, and we can write a hook into Seam. File a feature request in JIRA.
