JBoss Native performance improvement

Hello there! Does the performance improvement of native libs comes only when serving static content and SSL support? Or should I always change my connector from ajp -> ajpapr on my jboss as installations?

Sorry for the dummy question, but I could not find an easy answer on the docs for this.

AJP don't support SSL for the moment so the improvements using native support won't be as important as if you were using https.
If you are using the jbossweb 2.0.x you have to use the Jboss native otherwise AJP won't work.
