Tomcat source code

Hi,

I cannot figure out where to get the source code for the version of JBoss Web included with JBoss AS 4.2.1GA. I'm talking about the complete source, especially the Tomcat part.

I'm probably just overlooking something, but I would expect some document to come with the JBoss AS download that would tell me what version of JBoss Web is in there, and what version of Tomcat that's based on, and where to get the source code. Does such a document exist? Or is this information online somewhere?

One possibility: get the source for jbossas, build it (cd to build directory and run build script), then under thirdparty/jboss/web/lib unzip the jbossweb-src.zip file.

JBoss Web Server sources are located in the subversion repository at http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossweb. But I have not yet figured out how to match the tag numbers there to the jbossweb.jar bundled with a given jbossas release.

That is easy the JBossWeb tags are in http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossweb/tags/
The tag you need is in build/build-thirdparty.xml of the AS you use.

There is says:
componentref name="jboss/web" version="2.0.0.GA"/>
So that you need JBOSSWEB_2_0_0_GA
