What to do if server-config file is missing while deploying

Um, provide it so that it is no longer missing?

It is kind of hard to help you with the problem you are having if you don't give us enough information about it. Things like:

1) What version of JBossAS are you using?
2) What version of the JDK?
3) What OS are you running on?
4) What is the full stack trace of the excpetion from the console log?
5) What were you doing when this exception occurred? (you indicated "while deploying" - what were you deploying?)
