what would be the best way to get my one-time initialization to work.
The @Service can help you http://docs.jboss.org/ejb3/app-server/reference/build/reference/en/html/jboss_extensions.html -
2. Re: @WebServiceProvider @Stateless and @PostConstruct
jahhaj Oct 21, 2008 8:11 AM (in response to jahhaj)Thanks but it didn't work, maybe because @Service only applies to EJB's? Anyway my code (an except)
@org.jboss.annotation.ejb.Service @WebServiceProvider( targetNamespace = DDAA.NAMESPACE, wsdlLocation = "WEB-INF/wsdl/ddaa.wsdl") @ServiceMode(value = Service.Mode.MESSAGE) public class DDAA implements Provider<SOAPMessage> { private static final Logger log = Logger.getLogger(DDAA.class.getName()); public DDAA() { log.info("DDAA ctor"); } }
The ctor is called each time the DDAA web service is called.
