JDK 5 reliance

Is it likely that as the Microcontainer evolves, its reliance on JDK 5 will increase? This isn't an issue of concern BTW: I'm just wondering about the impact on JBossESB and whether it makes sense for us to simply say from the outset in that project that we will only support JDK 5.

We have a jbossretro project for converting j2se5 constructs into j2se1.4 compatible elements, so the use of j2se5 itself should not be an issue. We should be able to use the mc in a j2se1.4.x environment.
