Web Beans Integration

Hi;

I read EDR of the Web Beans Specification while ago, it look so much like Microcontainer stuff like components, component types, events, wiring, aspects etc....

I am wondering that Web Beans stuff will duplicate the same thinks with Microcontainer, or is implemented over Microcontainer based?

Web Beans is more application level, like Seam. Although the Microcontainer does similar things, it is used very differently. I don't know what plans have been made, but the Web Beans component framework will probably be separate.

There are plans to use MC to impl WB RI.
