What do I do next?

I have installed and configured Kosmos and I have got a Kosmos tab on my portal. I had to use the admin screens to "change instance" of each item before I could get anything, but I don't know which option in the drop-down box to select:

Unfortunately, because of successful commercial project I couldn't spend any time working on this recently, but the project is definitely not "dead".

There is some interesting activity (by a pretty big name) in the background. You'll notice when they really "pick up" the project.
