Web Console as a starting point

Hello, great posts everyone. New to JBPM and I have a newbie question: I assume that most people simply take the webconsole app and modify it to look/feel like their application. Basically, re-theme it. Is this a true assessment?

no.... some use seam, some use the underlying jsf components some do other things. For admin, the console is good. For real applications, you better start from scratch (or the seam or the jsf components)

Following the thread... what kind of restrictions or what are the weakest point inside the actual console?
Why start from scratch and not use the actual code?
