    user types and wiring

      talked to gavin while at neuchatel. he considered the addition of user types to JPA a good thing, but it would be highly unlikely that the JPA committee could reach consensus on the API cause its so low level. at that level, every implementation does things different. so it would be hard to get that standardized. so we shouldn't expect that to be added any time soon.

      talked to christian about our wiring and web beans. it turns out that one of the possibilities is that web beans will standardize something that is very close to our wiring. but it will be a while for that to settle down. Gavin has sketched his ideas about web beans in a series of 4 blogs:
